An Evening with Distinguished Visiting Artist Jim Mezon

Join us for an intimate and interactive conversation with Jim Mezon, Guest Director for Studio Theatre’s upcoming Major Barbara and our 2009 Mary Mooney Distinguished Visiting Artist.

Jim will deliver a one-hour public lecture:
23 Years at the Shaw Festival – presenting the Shavian Argument to Canadian Audiences

Q & A moderated by Professor David Ley.

Jim Mezon has been a member of the Shaw Festival Company for 24 years where he has acted in and directed over 40 productions, Including Arms and the Man, Candida, Heartbreak House, Major Barbara, Getting Married, The Philanderer, John Bull's Other Island, Too True to Be Good, Widowers' Houses, Pygmalion, Caesar and Cleopatra, You Never Can Tell, Back to Methuselah and Devil's Disciple.

He has directed and taught at the University of Northern Colorado, Brock University and the National Theatre School. He can be seen in Paul Gross’ film Passchendaele.
