New Works Festival
Initiated in 2000, the New Works Festival is an exciting theatrical event held by the Department of Drama each February. The festival allows the university's emerging theatre artists to connect to the experienced, developing their work with directors, dramaturges, designers, and actors.
New Works embodies the spirit of theatre itself, with like-minded individuals coming together to further develop their creative prowess. Above all, the festival provides a learning experience like no other to students across the university, while forming connections that will last a lifetime.
New Works 2012 will run from February 7 to 12, 2012 in the Second Playing Space at the Timms Centre for the Arts.
Check out this page for synopses of new plays to be staged at the festival, and follow us on Facebook!
